Sema Selek
Av. Sema Selek was born in Adana in 1999. She completed her undergraduate education at Çukurova University Faculty of Law in 2021. In 2022, she spent a year in Italy for an internship in the Department of Law and Economics at Unitelma Sapienza University. She then completed her legal internship in Adana and became a lawyer registered with the Adana Bar Association. Currently, she is pursuing her master's degree in Law and Economics at the Department of European Studies at Sapienza University, Italy. She has achieved academic success during her university years. At the Prof. Dr. Serkan Odaman International Article Competition organized by the Izmir branch of ELSA (European Young Lawyers Association), he won first place with his article titled "Mediation in Labor Disputes". He also won second place with his teammates in the ELSA Mock Trial Competition organized on behalf of Prof. Dr. Hakan Pekcanıtez in Izmir. He organized the English moot court competition on "Smart Contracts and DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization)" in the summer school on "IT and Intellectual Property Law" organized by ELSA in Adana. Ms. Selek is a volunteer member of the Informatics Commission of the Adana Bar Association and contributes to the preparations of the Commission's E-Journal.
